This is just the latest change to Capital One’s lounge access. Late last year, the publisher announced that Venture Rewards and Capital One Spark Miles for Business Cardholders will lose two complimentary annual lounge visits effective January 1, 2025. However, cardholders will continue to have access to Capital One lounges at a special rate of $45 for them and their guests per visit.

Overall, these changes should limit the number of non-cardholders who choose to pay for lounge access given the high prices. If you find yourself frequenting Capital One lounges multiple times a year, you’ll be much better off getting a Venture X or Venture X Business instead of paying these new non-cardholder entry fees.
