‘Cold lava’ floods Philippine village after eruption

Footage shows rivers of ash and volcanic debris following the ‘explosive eruption’ at Mt Kanlaon on Monday.

The eruption sent a plume of ash miles high into the sky, causing dozens of flights to be canceled and hundreds of people to evacuate.

Authorities say further eruptions are possible.
