Corpse Party II game release ceremony with ghost stories
To celebrate the release Corpse Party II: Distorted DarknessMAGES has just launched a special ghost story project called GHost a Storyteller’s Chat Party. These ghost stories are available on the newly launched MAGES Horror Channel on YouTube, with more horror content and collaborations planned in the future. Program broadcast according to the schedule of Ghost story telling party will air every Monday starting September 30, 2024.

The event features seven famous ghost storytellers, such as Toshiyuki Tanaka and Yasuhiro Hayase, who share scary stories based on real events. Each ghost story is inspired by related themes Corpse Party IIincluding the hospital and the feeling of not being able to escape.
In related news, Corpse Party II: Distorted Darkness has been previewed at Anime Expo 2024, demonstrating the transition from the series’ traditional top-down style to a third-person perspective. Players control Haruka as she navigates a haunted hospital. The new 3D models and environments give a more mature, scarier feel, although some navigation and interaction issues were noted.
Corpse Party 2: Distorted Darkness Release is scheduled for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC in fall 2024, but an exact date has yet to be announced.
