Cover publishes the measures taken to combat defamation of Hololive
Cover announced on its website the measures it is taking to combat defamation, slander and libel against its ho ho talents. You can also self-report if you witness distressing or malicious behavior online.
News on Cover’s website covers its activities from January to December 2024. According to Cover, it resolved 252 cases last year. Its actions mainly focus on removing social media posts and accounts that violate its rights. They also take legal action against sites, such as aggregators or “matome” sites, that may post personal information about a talent (whether that information is legal or not). ).
Malicious posts or posts that violate Cover or hololive’s rights often contain content such as impersonation, false information, slander or libel. Direct harassment of talents or their fanbase also counts.
