Danganronpa V3’s infamous ending shouldn’t stop new games
It’s been a while since there was a new main line danganronpa The game has been released. Sadly, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon either. With similar upcoming titles from creator Kazutaka Kodaka such as The Hundred Line: The Last Defense Academy on the horizon, it looks like the series is on hold indefinitely. This could be due to a number of factors, such as notoriety Danganronpa V3 ends, things should not stop danganronpa game.
I’ll do my best to avoid spoilers, but it’s almost unavoidable. So, if you’re not done yet Danganronpa V3This is your chance to walk away and come back later. Still here? Well, the ending is controversial for a reason. It turns this entire series on its head in many ways, but specifically because there are many lies.
As we found out, almost everything we knew about the series was a blatant lie or at least somewhat of a sham. Characters exist and participate in these games but with fake personalities. It’s a fascinating commentary on the fandom and the series, and one that I’ve grown to appreciate in the years since. But the ending seems to have put a limit on the series.
After all, what does it mean now that we know the truth? But I beg to differ. I feel like this series ended as soon as it began. V3and even the second game before that, did a lot to decode and surprise players. Characters you might think were evil died while the more innocent “main characters” turned out to be murderers. Despite these great turns, such as Kaede and Chiaki, there’s still plenty of room for new turns.
For example, what if a new game doesn’t take the multiplayer survivor route? It will be a shock if only the main character survives or dare I say ends the case in the end by trying to get away with murder. This will be an intriguing turning point in the trials.
Also, what about a game with multiple endings? Here, you can make choices that determine the conclusion you receive. Being able to befriend a possible murderer in a route leads to many survivors, while shunning someone who resembles Nagito or Ouma results in them pinning the murder on you and leaving as is the winner. Or they may even end you as their victim.
These are just a few options for a new one danganronpa. I don’t even make great character choices. Think of all the Ultimates we haven’t seen yet. There’s almost limitless potential for where the series can go next. Actually, I think it’s better to look V3 ends this way.
First, Spike Chunsoft and Kodaka (or a new team) could opt for a new reboot. Scratch the entire ending and start over with a fresh layer and no expectations. Or, heck, set it in a new universe and switch to the Ultimate college students. Another option is to fill in the gaps between games.
Spoiler alert again, but now we know the most recent game is actually the 53rd game in the universe. That means there are about 50 different games we haven’t played yet. That’s an unbelievable amount of content to go back and review. For example, can we see Rantaro’s game? Or just a new box without any strings attached. This could even be their chance to step up and decide a game. Danganronpa 4 and show the fourth game.
Finally, there’s the big one. What if we got a direct sequel danganronpa V3? I know it sounds ridiculous at the end, but there’s nothing to hide now. The game can continue as before. However, this time we know the truth about the matter.
This route offers a lot of possibilities for Spike to play with the characters and story. We might have more deranged students, such as someone who constantly switches between their old personality and their new, fake personality. We get to know the people behind the actual broadcast of the game, not Junko’s strange desperate mess.
Either way, this gives the team a chance to avoid the pitfalls of the original trilogy. Instead of connecting all three games like before, just giving us standalone experiences is a death game. This leaves the room open for anything to happen. No matter what, I’m sincere danganronpa V3 This is not the end for this series and we have new things danganronpa game at some point.
Master Detective Archives: Rain Code is a major distraction in 2023, but it’s just a little short of what I’d like to see. And then there is The Hundred Line: The Last Defense Academy. After all the times I hated unnecessary battles in a story-driven game like 13 guardsI expect this to be a similar situation. These fun entertainments are fun to try, but I hope Kodaka brings us a new experience danganronpa game sooner rather than later.
Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony available for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Vita, Xbox One and computer.
