DDG reacts to his son’s accusations of using Halo for “fame”


DDG launched a mild dig at an X (formerly Twitter) user who criticized him for posting about his son halo online. The streamer addressed the comment on the same platform on Saturday (November 2).

This is how DDG clapped back at his son

While Halo’s mother, Halle Bailey, spent her entire pregnancy out of the spotlight, DDG kept their son in it. In January, after months of pregnancy rumors, the former couple is finally revealed that they had welcomed their first child. DDG and Halle shared photos of their son afterward. However, the highly anticipated first glimpse of his face took place in July.

While Halo’s parents are are no longer togetherDDG continues to give fans more insight into life with a son. So when user On November 2, streamer posted an edited photo of Halo smiling toothily at a chocolate cupcake. The post has no caption. Among the 90+ replies, @vjrrma wrote: “Stop using your son to get famous, you weirdo.”

“I never understood this story when my son couldn’t even speak. He is ‘famous’ thanks to his parents. If your dad posted you when you were little, no one would care, lol,” the streamer replied.

Speaking of posting Halo, both the boy’s parents recently shared photos of his first spooky season. Daddy D and Halo dressed up as father and son from ‘The Incredibles’, while Halle and the baby dressed up as Disney’s Lilo and Stitch.

Bailey has yet to speak out about her ex-boyfriend’s posts about their son. However, in September, she was criticized for negative comments regarding their child and her career. The post has since been deleted, but Bailey made it clear at the time that she was reprimanding “any negative words.”
