In one Videos on Instagram Posted by Jacquees, he is seen giving a speech before getting down on one knee and proposing to Deiondra. The mother-to-be showers him with hugs and kisses while their friends and family cheer in celebration.

Sports Illustrated It was reported that Deiondra’s father, Deion Sanders, her mother, Carolyn Chambers, and brothers, Deion Sanders Jr. and Shilo Sanders, attended the special event.

Jacquees and Deiondra Sanders celebrated the baby with family and close friends.

The event featured black, gold, red and white balloons and a large “Baby Que” sign next to the pool. The celebration also included never-before-seen photos from Jacquees and Deiondra’s maternity photo shoot.

For the event, Deiondra, daughter of football coach and former player Deion Sanders, wore a white pearl gown. She proudly showed off her sparkling diamond engagement ring on both her and Jacquees’ Instagram Stories.

Deiondra and Jacquees’ baby shower and engagement comes nearly two months after she went viral for explaining why their son didn’t carry the last name Jacquees when he was a high school student.

Deiondra then took to The Shade Room’s comments section to give her perspective on the decision.

“What I SAID is that my last name will be on our child since I am not married and still use my last name,” she wrote. “Que has also worked very hard to have his own legacy and of course his son will also carry his last name. 💙”
