Delta is giving away free Hilton status to some SkyMiles members

Delta Air Lines is partnering with Hilton to offer complimentary Hilton Honors status to select Delta SkyMiles members. Check the email associated with your Delta SkyMiles account to see if you were targeted for this invitation-only offer.
For those who have been targeted, here are the details you need to know. You can also try registering at this linkalthough some TPG employees have not been successful with this path.

Targeted Delta SkyMiles members can click the “Apply Now” button in their email to sign up for six months of enhanced Hilton Honors status. You will need to log in to your Delta SkyMiles account and follow the prompts to complete registration. After entering your Hilton Honors login details, you’ll receive a notification letting you know that you’ve successfully begun the trial period for your Hilton Honors status.
You’ll see your new Hilton Honors status level reflected in your account within 72 hours of signing up. Then, on your next stay with Hilton, you’ll receive elite status benefits like earning bonus points, room upgrades, daily dining credits, free premium Wi-Fi, etc.
I am a Delta Silver Medal member and I was targeted for Hilton Honors Gold status. But TPG Senior Director of Product Management Gabe Travers has been targeted for Hilton Honors Diamond status as a Diamond Medallion member.
You must apply for this offer by December 31 at 11:59pm EST to temporarily receive enhanced Hilton Honors status.
How long can you stay high?
When you sign up, you’ll receive Hilton Honors status for six months, but you can extend that status through March 30, 2026 by staying a certain number of nights with Hilton:

- If you are targeted for Hilton Honors Gold status, you must stay 15 nights during the trial period.
- If you’re aiming for Hilton Honors Diamond status, you must stay 25 nights during the trial period.
The card automatically earns you Hilton Honors status
