Donald Trump’s Twitter account appeared to wake up and choose violence on Sunday morning when it posted a message about Taylor Swift on ‘Truth Social.’
The former president used the social media platform to write, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT.”
Trump’s comments come after Swift publicly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris and her companion, Tim WalzThe pop star’s endorsement of the Democrat comes after the first presidential debate between Trump and Vice President Harris on Tuesday (September 10) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Here’s What Taylor Swift Said Ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election
Shortly after the first presidential debate aired on (September 10), Taylor Swift took to Instagram to share a lengthy message. The ‘Shake it Off’ singer encouraged her fans to research the issues and understand both Trump and Harris’ stances.
Swift revealed that Trump’s false, AI-amplified claims about her support for him prompted her to clarify her actual voting plans for the 2024 election.
Taylor then went on to confirm her support for Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz.
“I will be voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential election. I am voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for rights and causes that I believe need a warrior to defend. I think she is a strong, talented leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm, not chaos. I am so excited and impressed by her choice of running mate @timwalz, who has been fighting for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and women’s rights over their own bodies for decades,” Swift wrote.
Guardian Taylor Swift reportedly spoke about the election during her appearance at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) on (September 11). The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer urged fans and viewers aged 18 and over to register to vote.
