Dragon Age: Veilguard will be DRM-free
in one new article because Dragon Age: Guardian specifying PC requirements, Electronic Arts revealed that there will be no DRM in the game. This means there will be no preload time for PC players.
Preload time for Dragon Age: Guardian as follows:
- Xbox Series X: October 14, 9:00 a.m. PDT
- PS5: October 29, 9:00 a.m. PDT
- computer: October 31, 9 a.m. PDT
For reference, the game launches on October 31, 2024. While the lack of DRM means PC players can’t pre-load the game, it also means you’ll be able to keep the game even when something happens and Electronic Arts decides to remove it from the online space. DRM can also cause performance issues, such as longer load times.

There are two panels so you can see what the game requires when ray tracing is enabled or disabled. Electronic Arts also noted that it makes the game as accessible as possible at minimal settings, meaning that even those with low-end machines can run the game.
