EA Sports FC 24 is getting a free ‘UEFA Euro 2024’ update on Switch
UEFA Euro 2024 is about to start, host Germany will meet Scotland June 14, 2024. To mark this occasion, EA is about to release the above free update EA Sports FC 24 to bring the upcoming tournament live to Switch players.
An update will be available Today (June 6, 2024), so you won’t have to wait long to get straight to the new content. As for what it contains, EA has confirmed that you will be able to take part in finals, semi-finals and group stage matches across nine authentically recreated stadiums.
There is also a ‘Match of the Day’ fixture schedule, which will basically be updated with each real-life match day until the final. If your team doesn’t make it to the tournament this year then don’t worry, you can also rewrite history and play against any European team and player you want.
EA Sports FC 24 launches on Switch on September 22, 2023 and receives a solid score of 8/10 from us, finally breaking EA’s tradition of lumping Switch owners into ‘ The dreaded ‘legacy version’. We praise the Frostbite engine and Ultimate Team features, but note that the game only runs at 30fps on the Switch.
