EVA Air announces new route from Dallas Fort Worth to Taipei
America’s second busiest airport is getting a new direct flight to Taiwan.
Next November, Taiwanese airline EVA Air will launch direct flight service from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to its headquarters in Taipei, the airline said this week.

EVA’s new DFW service
The new DFW-to-Taipei route will launch on November 3, 2025. EVA will fly the route with five weekly round trips.
The airline has not yet said which of its long-haul aircraft will carry passengers to and from DFW, but EVA’s most popular long-haul aircraft is the Boeing 777-300ER.
However, EVA also has more than a dozen Airbus A350-1000 aircraft on order.
This summer, executives told TPG that the A350 is expected to serve at least some US routes in the future – most likely flights to the East Coast.

The airline is also planning to renovate some of its existing jets. In coming years, interior upgrades will see EVA’s Royal Laurel business class gain suites with privacy doors for the first time.
EVA currently flies nonstop to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) from six US cities: Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles on the West Coast; Chicago and Houston are in the middle of the country; and New York on the East Coast.
The company made headlines this summer when it launched its latest product Hello Kitty themed plane on select flights to Chicago.
