Evangelion Musha Riobot designed by Afro Samurai Creator


The guard has revealed a new Riobot action figure that will depict Shinji Ikari’s Evangelion Unit-01 in his Japanese warrior Musha costume. The company also announced that Takashi Okazaki, the manga artist and illustrator best known for African Samuraiis designing a new model. Its official name will be “Multi-purpose Humanoid Combat Weapon Musha Unit-01.”

Riobot is a line of action robot products published by Sentinel. Items in this line are primarily inspired by Super Robot War series of games. The company has introduced units not only from Original Generation series but also shows that have appeared in crossovers, such as Cross Heaven And Getter Robo Armageddon. Sentinel also releases action figures based on other robot-themed titles such as Voltron: Legendary Defender And Me and Roboco.

Sentinel has yet to confirm the release date and price of the new action figure. So far, the company has only announced that it will open pre-orders for the product on July 26, 2024.

There have been many characters collaborating on the following themes Good news previously revealed units. In late May 2024, Bandai revealed a still image based on Godzilla vs Evangelion crossover. After closing pre-orders in late June 2024, Bandai will officially release it in September 2024.

Sentinel will begin accepting orders for Good news-Musha Type-01 Riobot Multi-Purpose Humanoid Combat Weapon Action Figure themed for Friday, July 26, 2024.
