Expand your aerial abilities to explore the new lands of Natlan – PlayStation.Blog
Hello visitors! Genshin Impact Version 5.2 “Tapestry of Spirit and Flame” launches on November 20, and today we are excited to introduce two new Natlan tribes, the Flowerfur Clan and the Nightwind Masters. By recruiting elite warriors Chasca and Ororon or transforming into their Saurian companions, you can learn to command the power of the sky to move and fight in the air.
Using the skills of our new and familiar Saurian companions, we can also venture to the ancient ruined city of Ochkanatlan, the cloud refuge to the northwest of two new tribes, The Flowerfur Clan and the Nightwind Master. At the same time, a mysterious incident occurred in Masters of the Night-Wind, which you can investigate with Citlali and Ororon as part of the seasonal main event in the upcoming new version.
Fly high and explore like a Saurian
The Saurians we’ve met so far have helped us traverse Natlan’s challenging landscapes with ease. Today, we want to introduce you to two new species: Qucusaur and Iktomisaurs, which will allow us to further expand our exploration capabilities – maneuvering in flight and revealing what the naked eye cannot see. can see.
Qucusaur is the proudest Saurian of Natlan and considers himself king of the sky. They once patrolled the entire region of Natlan along with the best riders of the Flowerfur Clan. Qucusaur is capable of gliding at maximum speed over long distances. They can dash through the wind in accelerated glide mode, but can also use Phologiston to gain altitude or perform side flips while in flight.
Unlike the Qucusaur’s ability to travel long distances, Iktomisaurs can perform vertical jumps and reach great heights. In addition, these wise Saurians also possess a unique vision that allows them to detect things that would normally remain hidden. It is said that the great Iktomisaur Elder has served as a guide to the Masters of the Night Wind for many generations, so your Iktomisaur companion and their special vision can guide you as well Follow the trail of buried secrets behind these glowing signs and graffiti. By activating this vision, they can draw energy from objects infused with Phologiston or craft special items from graffiti patterns. Throughout your adventure, Iktomisaur’s signature talent for spotting and impressive jumps will prove essential for traversing steep terrain, uncovering hidden passages and obstacles, and solving puzzles. The most complex puzzle.
The abilities of Iktomisaurs, Qucusaurs, as well as your other Saurian companions will play an important role in exploring the different levels of Ochkanatlan’s dangerous cityscape. Destroyed by the Abyss, this ancient city of Natlan is now inaccessible and no longer inhabited by a single living soul. However, a small companion named Cocouik will join you on your quest to rid this Abyssal contaminated place.
Meanwhile, a fierce dragon has taken over the area. In ancient times, the relationship between humans and dragons was completely different. A special token awaits here, which can reveal even more details about our journey with Little One, our beloved little Tepetlisaur.
Unyielding defenders against the abyss
Elite warriors from the Flower-Feather Clan and the Masters of the Night-Wind also learn from their Saurian companions and develop unique abilities in exploration and combat. With the latest update, we may have a chance to recruit Chasca and Ororon.
Known as a great warrior and peacemaker within the Flower-Feather Clan, Chasca will finally be playable in Patch 5.2 as a five-star Anemo bowman. Raised by a Qucusaur family, Chasca’s unique upbringing shaped her sharp fighting skills. Her trusty gun, the Soulsniper, allows her to float in the air and fire bullets of various elements in battle. Once it finds its aerial advantage, the Soulsniper can load up to six bullets and is capable of hitting multiple enemies. Additionally, it can deliver a devastating attack, which then splits into homing bullets. These bullets can undergo Elemental Conversion when you have Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro characters in your party, making Chasca an expert at amplifying damage through different Elemental Rotations . Finally, having Chasca in your party allows you to restore Phologiston by eliminating enemies, which gives a significant advantage in prolonged combat.
Ororon from Masters of the Night-Wind is playable as a four-star palace user. He seems to have a deep connection to the Dark Kingdom and protects Natlan in his own way. Similar to Iktomisaurs, Ororon is capable of flying into the air and has keen perception. While charging the Aimed Shot, Ororon will enter Spiritspeaker mode, allowing him to draw power from Natlan’s graffiti and runes. Additionally, having Ororon in the party will increase surfing speed, making exploration faster and more seamless.
In combat, Ororon can be a great support, especially if he’s combined with Electro or Hydro characters. Ororon can gain Nightsoul Points when one of his party members activates Nightsoul Burst or when other party members deal Hydro or Electro damage to enemies after Ororon unleashes his Elemental Skill . When enemies take damage from Charge reactions or other party members deal Nightsoul-related damage, Ororon can consume Nightsoul Points to enter Nightsoul’s Blessing state and activate the “Hypersense” effect, dealing damage Love Electro. He can also summon a supersonic Oculus to taunt nearby enemies and deal Electric damage.
For Event Wishes Version 5.2, the first phase will welcome the introduction of Chasca and Ororon along with the reappearance of Lyney, while the second phase will come with the reappearance of Zhongli and Neuvillette .
The threat of the abyss still looms
The war against the Abyss experienced a brief lull thanks to the efforts of the Travelers and the brave warriors of Natlan. It’s time to rest and help the Flower-Feather Clan as they recover from the Abyssal contamination. The story continues with Archon Quest Chapter V: Interlude, “All Fires Fuel the Flame”, in which Iansan and the Captain will also assist the tribe in recovering from the physical and psychological injuries caused by the Abyss.
Meanwhile, other powerful threats such as a new boss named “Tenebrous Papilla” have shadowed Natlan. This disturbing Abyssal monster can warp its body to become an even more powerful enemy by absorbing memories from Natlan’s damaged Ley Lines.
