F-Zero 99 updated to version 1.5.1, here are the full patch notes

After a pretty big update earlier this month comes Nintendo’s battle royale racer Switch Online F-Zero 99 has now received another patch.

This kicks the game up a notch Version 1.5.1 and includes a series of fixes. There was also confirmation that certain content was not logged correctly for customers running on Version 1.4.1 and earlier.

Last but not least, Nintendo has also fixed some “other” issues for a more enjoyable experience. Here’s the full list via Nintendo’s official support page:

Latest update: Ver. 1.5.1 (Released October 15, 2024)

Fixed profile display issue in Workshop

  • Fixed an issue where the minutes and seconds display would get stuck at “59:59” when the Total Playtime for CAREER in RECORDS reached 100 hours.
  • Fixed an issue where the results of ACE LEAGUE in RANK BY MACHINE in PRIX in RECORDS were not saved correctly.

For customers using this software from Ver. 1.4.1 and earlier

We have confirmed that in save data created with Ver. 1.4.1 and earlier, RANK BY MACHINE in ACE LEAGUE was not recorded correctly.

So, for saved data from customers who have used this software since Ver. 1.4.1 and earlier, ACE LEAGUE RANK BY MACHINE will be initialized in Ver. 1.5.1.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and hope for your understanding.

*ACE LEAGUE’S PLAYING TIME, WINNING, WEEKLY POINTS and WEEKLY RANKING will remain the same.

*For customers who have achieved first place in ACE LEAGUE, there may be a difference between WINNING and MACHINE RANKING.

Other fixes

  • Fixed additional issues for a more enjoyable gaming experience.

Once again, this update follows on from a much larger update earlier this month, adding five new tracks, Satellaview content and more. A database has also suggested even more exciting content could be on F-Zero 99!
