Fate/Grand Order topped the sales charts during Golden Week
According to Sensor Tower, Fate/Great Order was the mobile game in Japan that earned the most revenue during Golden Week. For reference, Golden Week (holiday period) runs from April 27 to May 6, 2024. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
Fate/Great Order earned more than $15 million during Golden Week, $3 million more than Monster attack, in second place. As a note, Monster attack have more daily active users Fate/Great Order do. Other games in the list included Nike: Goddess of victory, Arknights, Honkai: Star RailwayAnd Genshin Impact. This is the second year in a row Fate/Great Order topped the Golden Week earnings chart.
Since Golden Week takes place from April 27 to May 6, 2024, it coincides with Kumano Hot Springs Murder Case on the Japanese server. This event takes place from April 26 to May 17, 2024. This is Witches on the holy night Collaboration event at Fate/Great Order, which may explain why the game made so much money. During the event, players can receive the Berserker version of Shizuki for free. Meanwhile, the gacha Servants are Aoko (SSR Foreigner) and Alice (SSR Caster).
In 2023, Fate/Great Order Have First Lilim Harlot event during Golden Week, giving players the chance to get the Monster/Draco of Sodom in the gacha. As of the time of writing, she remains the only playable Beast Servant. She’s also very powerful, which could encourage players to spend enough money to push the game to the top of the sales charts. The Lilim Harlot recurrence event is now available in Japanese Fate/Great Order for a limited time.
