Final Fantasy XIV art appears in Samsung’s SSD advertisement in Japan


Samsung Japan announced that they have come up with a new ad for their Samsung 990 Pro SSD, which also features character illustrations from 22 jobs available in Final Fantasy XIV. People can find it on two large billboards in Tokyo, Japan. To be more precise, the advertisement appeared at the Bic Camera Yurakucho Store and on the B4 floor of Shibuya Station’s Tokyu Toyoko Line.

This ad is not meant for everyone You can find and buy the Samsung 990 Pro SSD with Final Fantasy XIV already installedin spite of. This is just part of Samsung’s “Make Your GG” advertising project, where the company pledges to bring “the best gaming experience” with its SSD storage products.

Samsung previously set up a promotional booth for a similar project at Tokyo 2024 Game Expo. It has games not only from Square Enix like Final Fantasy XIV And XVI but also by Sega Sonic x Shadow GenerationAtlus’ Metaphor: ReFantazioand by Capcom Street Fighter 6 And Wild monster hunter among many others.

The art of collaborative advertising between Final Fantasy XIV and Samsung 990 Pro SSD will be on display until December 29, 2024 at Shibuya Station and mid-February 2025 at Bic Camera Yurakucho Store.

Final Fantasy XIV available worldwide on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Square Enix released update patch version 7.15 on December 17, 2024.
