Disney Treasure will premiere “Disney The Tale of Moana” as a new Broadway-style musical. We got a preview of Act 1 and the sets, puppets, costumes and choreography were breathtaking. The cast is one of the most diverse Disney has ever had on a cruise ship, and Disney ensured that cultural consultants of Hawaiian and Samoan descent were involved in selecting the music and choreography .
The ship’s other shows will be “Seas the Adventure” and “Beauty and the Beast.”
Disney Treasure will depart on its maiden voyage on December 21 and will spend its maiden voyage on alternating week-long Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries. Families and travelers of all ages will love this ship for its warm, welcoming décor and cleverly themed spaces.
