Fitbit users will soon get free access to Peloton classes
One day after publication Pixel 3 SmartwatchAlong with a slew of new fitness features and insights, Google has more good news for fitness enthusiasts.
IN a press release todayPeloton has announced a multi-year deal with Google to bring free classes to Fitbit users.
There will be more than a dozen workout types, including strength, Pilates, running, boxing, cycling, and barre. Peloton says it will periodically add new content to the app.
While most of the content is only available to Fitbit Premium subscribers, free users can access some of it as well.

Peloton is best known for its home workout equipment, but you don’t need that equipment to take advantage of Peloton classes. The regular app costs $12.99/month. The app features live and recorded classes in a variety of categories, and classes range from ten minutes to an hour.
Apple users, you’re not left behind. This offer is available to any Fitbit Premium subscriber, not just those with Pixel or Fitbit devices.
Late last year, Peloton joined a similar deal with lululemonBringing the classroom to Studio Mirror users.
Peloton didn’t specify exactly how many classes will be available or whether they’ll be device-specific, only saying that “a broad catalog” will be available starting in September. The classes are open to Fitbit Premium members in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia.

In return, Peloton members will receive a special Google Pixel watch and Fitbit Charge 6 equipment provided
