According to CBS NewsA Los Angeles County judge sentenced Trone to 31 years to life in prison on Monday, September 23. As Shade room Trone was convicted earlier this month of murder, two counts of second-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, according to previous reports.

Trone is accused of sending his 17-year-old son to a Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles location in Los Angeles, California, to kill PnB Rock in September 2022. The man’s 42-year-old son “is being held in custody while a judge determines whether he is competent to stand trial.”

PnB Rock’s fiancee recently paid tribute to the late rapper

PnB Rock’s fiancée, Stephanie Sibounheuang, has yet to publicly respond to Trone’s sentencing. However, earlier this month, on September 12, Sibounheuang took to Instagram to pay tribute to PnB. The date marks the second anniversary of his death.

“2 years without you. Not easy. You just got stronger. I miss you. I love you. I think about you all day,” she wrote in the caption of a videotape including many moments they shared. “It’s strange to say that as time goes by… I’m becoming more and more obsessed with you. It can’t be normal. However, Can’t wait to see you in heaven forever. Forever in my heart ♾️ @pnbrock”
