Gelbana from Steins;Gate is available as a drink
We live in an age where gelbana not only exists, but tastes real. Good?! MGK will release one Steins Gate gelbana drinks on October 28, 2024. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
On the label, the drink depicts a bunch of bananas, torn apart at the molecular level and transformed into a green gelatinous substance. Accordingly, this is a soft drink containing about 150 mg of caffeine. It costs 540 JPY ($3.60) per bottle and each bottle has a capacity of about 50 ml. the Steins Gate The gelbana drink contains soft-shelled turtle extract (not exactly a common ingredient in Japan), sugar, honey, carrot extract, etc. Since it contains caffeine, you should only drink one bottle a day.
This is part of the 15th anniversary campaign Steins Gate. Other products include acrylic keychains and 13 different types of whipped cream. These products appear in stores on October 15, 2024. There are 13 different flavors of whipped cream and 13 different acrylic keychains for all the characters and mascots in the series. Each can costs 2500 JPY or about 16.70 USD.
