With each new season of “Love Is Blind,” a standout star will appear. Earlier this year, when the sixth season debuted, it might have been Megan Fox of it alland while season seven, which premieres October 2, is still going on, we can always count on an unusual decor choice to steal some scenes: those damn golden goblets. (You know the ones.)

As omnipresent as the film, the shiny cups, both stemmed and stemless, aren’t just sipped by the contestants in the compartment; they also win a ticket to the next all-inclusive honeymoon resorts and appear almost everywhere. Viewers can see them in any group setting, at the wedding dress shop and at each contestant’s apartment. We’ll put it this way: if “shoot every time you see the golden cup” were part of the “Love Is Blind” drinking game, you’d probably have a major hangover after just one episode movie.

So what is the purpose of these popular drinking vessels and where on earth do they come from? Wonder no more because we have the answer right here.

What is the “Love is Blind” Gold Cup?

Chris Coelen, author of the movie “Love Is Blind” recounts Diversity in 2022, he chose the cups as a way to aesthetically differentiate the series – because apparently trapping the lovers in small cocoons separated by a projected wall Brightness is not enough to do so. “When you turn on the show, you know it’s our show,” he said. “It’s a very authentic, really realistic following of these people’s journeys, but I love the fact that we have this kind of connective tissue to that in a really light way.”

Additionally, the opaque nature of the glass allows for seamless continuity; editors can piece together scenes without worrying about how much wine, water, coffee or any other preferred liquid is left in each contestant’s cup. Additionally, the fact that they are metal and therefore harder to break than glass also helps.

PS also reached out to Netflix about where they got their viral gold trophies. . . just in case we plan a “Love is Blind” themed party in the future. A representative from the show’s production company, Kinetic Content, told us it’s no surprise that they buy in bulk from Amazon and ship it from location to location using production trucks. Although they cannot provide the exact brand, this product listing, Set of 4 golden wine glasses ($29) on Amazon, looks like a pretty outstanding scam.
