‘Grandfather. & Mrs. Smith’ scoring season two: Will Donald Glover and Maya Erskine return?
Greet, Mr. and Mrs. Smith has officially received another mission. After premiering its first season on February 2, the Prime Video series is getting a second season, Amazon announced at an advance presentation Tuesday in New York. A reimagining of the 2005 film starring Brad Pitt And Angelina JolieTV version is paired Donald Gloverco-creator and executive producer of the series alongside Francesca Sloanewith Maya Erskine belong to PEN15 reputation.

We are proud to bring you another season of unforgettable journeys and new adventures.”
According to Glover and Erskine “are not expected to return to star roles” in the second season Diversitysources of. He recently revealed Plan a trip around the world as Childish Gambino starting from August to February 2025; she is writing the HBO limited series The Perfect Nanny, in which Erskine will play the lead role opposite Nicole Kidman. The first season ended with a finale in which it was unclear whether Glover’s John and Erskine’s Jane were still alive after a bloody showdown with another pair of spies. That leaves room for a new couple to take on the Smith role, just as Erskine and Glover did at the beginning of the show. If Mr. and Mrs. Smith going the anthology route, it would follow the trajectory of recent limited series included by Netflix Beef And by HBO White Lotus.
“I can’t say anything,” Erskine previously said speak VF about what the show tackles next. “I know where it will lead, but it will be disastrous. Oh God, I hate holding on to things and I want to tell you everything I can. I really want to, but just knowing, I think it’s very interesting where it leads.”
