Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom new movie edition with new epilogue

Sunrise has announced that it will screen new versions of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom The film will have a new ending in Japan. People living in that country will be able to see the new version in theaters for a limited time during the fall of 2024.

The new version of the film will feature over 500 updated cutscenes. However, the most important addition will be a new epilogue at the end of the film. Sunrise will keep two separate windows for the new section. Gundam SEED Freedom movies and each movie will have a different ending. The first part will take place from September 20, 2024 to October 3, 2024. The second part will take place from November 1 to 14, 2024.

Gundam SEED Freedom first appeared in Japanese theaters from January 26, 2024until May 23, 2024. Sunrise and Bandai Namco also worked with theaters around the world to gradually release the film outside of Japan. The companies eventually made the film available online via Netflix and Prime Video worldwide by early June 2024.

New movie version of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom will be available in Japanese theaters from September 20, 2024 to October 3, 2024 and from November 1 to 14, 2024.
