Halle Bailey reacts to Halo appearing on Kai Cenat’s broadcast with DDG
Halle Bailey recently pulled out her mother bear claws halo! The ‘The Little Mermaid’ actress appeared to be throwing jabs DDG after he appeared with their son stream online with Kai Cenat.
Halle addressed her concerns via social media on Wednesday. Now, the Internet is divided on her approach to the situation and whether she was right or wrong.
Halle asked DDG not to inform Halo of his whereabouts
So here’s what happened. On November 6, clips began circulating online of Halo and DDG joining Kai while over 219,000 people watched Cenat’s livestream. A video shows DDG entering Kai’s room with his and Halle’s son inside a black bag.
Cenat appeared surprised by Halo’s presence and gently greeted the child before rushing to find a seat for them. Meanwhile, D’s father pulled Halo out of his bag, hugged him, and hugged him. Kai still excitedly told the baby that he was his uncle as the baby sat silently. Later in the stream, Kai Cenat DDG wondered about Halo’s habits as a child.

It’s unclear how Halle Bailey knew Halo appeared on Kai’s broadcast, and she didn’t clarify that position. However, she did another one. In her Short social media statementThe mother of one child made it clear that she was currently “out of town” and did not “approve” of her son going to the stream. Bailey revealed that she was extremely upset by her child’s exposure to the internet and her inability to protect him.
“I was given no notice or notification, and I was extremely uncomfortable giving birth in front of millions of people. I am his mother and protector and am upset that I was not notified, especially since I was out of town,” Halle Bailey wrote.
Within two hours of posting, Halle Bailey’s tweet had more than 11,000 retweets, more than 4,600 comments, and at least 80,000 likes. In a subsequent post that has since been deleted, Bailey opened up about experiencing postpartum depression and needing boundaries.
“As a woman going through a heavy postpartum period, there are boundaries that I expect to be respected. No one knows what someone is going through until they fail,” she wrote.
Halle advocates for privacy, but social media users are calling for limits
Halle’s posts on Wednesday appeared to be the first time she indirectly criticized her ex-boyfriend for posting Halo online. When two people broke up, DDG was first to report it went online in early October. actress never mentioned the split on social networks or in the media – although fans suspect she may through her music. Instead, she shared a photo gallery on Instagram shows her spending time with Halo in a recording studio and practicing self-care, such as exercising.
If you haven’t peeked by now, Bailey is known for being a private person. Her need for privacy caused several viral moments last year, especially after she publicly denied her pregnancy to keep it a secret. In January, the former couple finally confirmed they had welcomed Halo. However, they didn’t share the first glimpse of his face until July.

Now, maybe the truth is that DDG shared Oh my God more Halo photos and videos online than Halle. However, the mother also does not keep the child completely offline. Last week, like her son’s father, Halle Bailey shared photos of her and Halo wearing ‘Lilo & Stitch’ costumes for the spooky season.
Some of the thousands of responses to Halle’s posts have pointed out her supposed double-standard thinking. Meanwhile, others are confirming the mother’s concerns.
You can have a crush on Halle if you want. She lashes out at people when people are trying to protect her. Now she’s trying to get you all to troll DDG instead of growing up and getting a child custody lawyer to set up ground rules about social media visibility to children…

Best regards,
This doesn’t need to be posted on the internet. Effective communication would be calling or texting the father. Twitter is not CPS. Halo lives with her father (who is a co-parent).Halo and DDG are in a room that doesn’t appear to be in any current danger. So once again I… https://t.co/KedCrzIAvn

She just made it seem like DDG was a bad father and he didn’t care about protecting his son.

DDG has previously been accused of using Halo to gain fame
DDG has yet to react to his ex-girlfriend’s public criticism. However, early Wednesday, he told X about becoming a father. “Man, this dad is so cool. Make sure you all take good care of the children,” the YouTuber wrote.

As mentioned, DDG’s fatherhood antics have gone viral since the couple decided to reveal the baby’s face this past summer. Last week, however, he dragged a social media user who accused him of using Halo to gain fame. User X made the accusation after DDG shared a Photoshopped Halo clip with adult-sized teeth.
“I never understood this story when my son couldn’t even speak. He is ‘famous’ thanks to his parents. If your dad posted you when you were little, no one would care, lol,” the father wrote at the time.
This is the second time Kai Cenat’s platform has been the center of controversy this week. Before Halle appeared as Halo as a guest on the broadcast, Kodak Black was in the hot seat. The Florida rapper went viral for his jerky and distracting behavior while fighting Kai and his online community. At one point, Kodak dropped a Percocet pill. He then clapped back at critics and fans who shared their concerns.
