Shin-chan: Shira and the coal town begins with the joy that comes from living a gentle, kind life as a child in a safe small town. Shinnosuke and his family currently live in Akita after his father’s work took them there to conduct a research project. Because his grandparents lived nearby, Shinnosuke spent his days learning from his grandfather Ginnosuke and leisurely exploring the area with him. He collects insects, fish and plants for a local author. He meets kids around town. He receives requests to access new areas.

However, after settling into life in Akita, Shinnosuke realized that there was another area to explore and it seemed that it was an area that needed his special help. Shira leads him to a mysterious platform in the nearby forest and after getting into a car, the two take him to Coal Town. It turns out Coal Town is in some danger, and a young girl named Sumi asked Hiro to take Shinnosuke there after she met the dog. Once there, you also get involved in helping the town and its people, doing things like assisting an inventor named Yumi, assisting in creating food for Yosoi’s diner to sell, and challenging all participants in cart races.

Since this is a life sim, the game loop is quite slow. After Shinnosuke woke up and had breakfast with his parents and grandparents, we could spend the day however we wanted. If we decide to stay in Akita, that might mean taking care of the garden and the things we’ve planted, hanging out with the kids and nearby neighbors, fishing, collecting insects, and generally Experience a comfortable daily life.

If someone goes to Coal Town, chances are the story will go a little further. It’s not that there aren’t story-related activities going on around Akita. In Akita, we have natural, open spaces filled with greenery, rustic houses and many more natural elements. Coal Town is a cobbled industrial town. At a glance, you can see that the mine is the main reason why it exists. However, despite being crowded, polluted and overcrowded with passersby, it is still just as beautiful.

Shin-chan: Shira and the coal town is a slow-burning life simulation game combined with engaging adventure involving the mysterious Coal Town. As a result, it’s a really comfortable and pleasant game. You can take your time with it and enjoy the atmosphere. The only thing that may hinder some people’s appreciation or enjoyment of this experience is the presence of Shin-chan himself, as not everyone can appreciate his humor or character designs of the series. But even if you’re apprehensive, it’s a soothing way to enjoy the last moments of summer before heading into winter.
