House Of The Dead 2: Remake is rated by the ESRB for Switch

After PEGI rating for House of the Dead 2: Remake discovered earlier this month, it appears the game has now been rated by the ESRB for the Switch.

The film is rated ‘M’ (adults 17+) and unsurprisingly contains blood, gore and violence. While there has been no official announcement yet, these ratings suggest we could get an update on this in the near future. Along with the rating is a summary:

“This is a railway light gun shooting game in which the player takes on the role of an agent searching for a missing colleague in Venice, Italy. From a first-person perspective, navigate through the city while using pistol to shoot and kill zombies and mutants. Creature kills often result in decapitation and/or dismemberment, with blood splatter effects.

As we mentioned earlier, this sequel remake was initially announced alongside the first game’s remake. Unfortunately, the first game didn’t really live up to the series’ legacy when it launched on Switch, with some performance and control issues.
