She and Tatum, who stars in her upcoming directorial debut, Blink twiceremoved during filming by viewing Mikey’s Day– a series of competitions hosted by bakers, in which bakers attempt to create convincing replicas of cake dishes, authentic enough to be (hopefully) indistinguishable from non-cake dishes. The judges are then faced with an important question: Is it a cake?
On Tatum’s birthday, Kravitz made sure the answer to that question, over several days and at unexpected moments, was a resounding “yes.” She had a baker trade the cake for fried chicken, a hotel room remote control, a travel tube of toothpaste, and more.
“I was just like, ‘What the hell?’” Kravitz recalled the last time she was in the bathroom. She even hid a replica of one of his socks in a pile of laundry, and was delighted when he picked it up and it fell apart in his hands. “I felt like I had achieved greatness.”

“I find that funny,” Kravitz said.
