Physically, the Ugreen Nexode 100W 20,000mAh 3-port power bank is very compact; Slightly smaller than my iPhone 15 Pro Max but about twice as thick.

It’s equipped with three ports on one end — two USB-C ports and one USB-A port — for multiple connectivity options. On the side there is a multi-function button that handles power, on/off and trickle charging functions, alongside an LED screen that clearly displays battery capacity. Its design is simple but effective.

Although some power banks are adorned with a series of buttons and LCD screens that display detailed information, there is something to be said for the elegance of simplicity. Ugreen Nexode embodies that philosophy perfectly — it’s very simple. The design focuses on ease of use, with the only notable information to remember being holding the on/off button for three seconds to activate trickle charging mode.

This minimalist approach not only enhances the user experience but also streamlines operations, making it an attractive choice for those who value simplicity and functionality.

Three ports on the Ugreen Nexode power bank provide many flexible charging options. When using a single USB-C port, it delivers a powerful 100W of power, ideal for quickly charging larger devices like laptops. However, when using all three ports simultaneously, the total power will adjust to a maximum of 85W.

The power bank can also be fully recharged in two hours using a 65W power supply (not supplied, but this Ugreen 65W set is a good choice if you need it). This flexibility allows you to effectively manage power distribution between multiple devices, making it a great choice for users who need to charge multiple devices on the go.

The power bank also comes with a foot-long USB-C-to-USB-C cable and a fabric carrying bag. Like all my power bank reviews, I rigorously tested this power bank against the claims made on its spec sheet in terms of power, power output through several charge and discharge cycles, and always keep an eye on how hot it gets under heavy load. . I am happy to report that it passed successfully.

This is a really well-built power bank, both inside and out. Its performance matches its impressive design, making it a reliable and stylish choice for keeping your devices powered up.

ZDNET Buying Tips

the Ugreen Nexode 100W 3-port backup charger was a pleasant surprise. Contrary to my expectations of it being bigger, bulkier and less feature-packed, it turned out to be a flagship device. It’s perfect for those looking for a powerful yet portable charging solution.

Also, the price is a bonus. I predict a price above $120. But its $100 actual price is a steal, making this power bank an attractive option for anyone in need of a mid-sized device that offers great value and great performance.
