“I will shoot down the drones myself”: Marjorie Taylor Greene threatens to take the mysterious drones herself
For nearly a month now, mysterious drones have been appearing spot scattered across the skies of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. That’s confused people who want to know who is behind the drones, and on Tuesday, several federal agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security, announced a general statement says the analysis shows “sightings to date include a mix of legal commercial drones, hobbyist drones, and law enforcement drones law, as well as manned fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters and stars mistakenly reported as drones.” They added that they “have not identified any irregularities and to date have not assessed this activity as posing a national security or public safety risk to civil airspace in New Jersey or other states in the northeast or not.”
However, at least one person doesn’t seem to believe the government’s explanation, and you probably won’t be surprised to learn that that person is a Georgia lawmaker and prominent conspiracy theorist. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who came to Truth Social on Monday to declare“I will tell you right now that if they try to tell us all to stay indoors, stay home, shelter in place ‘FOR OUR SAFETY’ from drones, there is no way I will comply with that absolutely. bullshit. Don’t do that. No way. I will shoot down drones myself along with every other red-blooded freedom-loving American.”
To be clear, no one in the government said anything about sheltering in place because of drones, at least not officially, and the joint statement would suggest that no one knew what they were talking about. believe there would be any reason to do so. Therefore.
