Idol Corp has release a declaration that prohibits non-consensual training of AI models on the voices, images, and appearances of its talents. This statement also covers past content, meaning that if you have previously used AI to create “fanart” of one of its VTubers, Idol Corp wants you to delete that content immediately.

You will need to have written consent from the idol’s management to use AI to create works using the idol’s image or voice. Even if management allows it, you may not create any offensive or misleading content. In this context, misleading content could mean you can’t use an AI voice program and pretend it’s real talent saying something.
