IHG Awards Night Discount: Get 15% off your stay
Discount on this popular prize from IHG One Rewards is back. Access for members with a Chase IHG One Rewards credit card opens on Friday, while access for Platinum Elite and Diamond Elite members will begin on Sunday. In both cases, eligible members can receive a 15% discount on stays of up to three nights when they book by Wednesday and check in by November 22.
I have Premier IHG One Rewards credit card. When I logged into my account, searched for rewards eligibility, and selected a hotel, I saw a message that said, “As a cardholder, you are eligible for 15% off Reward Nights.”
Eligible IHG members can get 15% off reward nights – including points and cash prizes – when booking stays of up to three consecutive nights before Wednesday. These members must log in to their IHG One Rewards account, book up to three nights of award stays at participating hotels, and check in by November 22 to qualify for the discount.
You don’t need to sign up for a promotion or do anything special to get the discount if you’re a qualifying member. Log in to your IHG account and search for awards nights as usual. However, keep in mind that Platinum Elite and Diamond Elite members without qualifying cards must wait until Sunday to take advantage of the discount.
Since this promotion is only for reward stays of up to three nights, it cannot be stacked with Wednesday night free rewards provided as a benefit above Premier IHG One Rewards credit cardfemale IHG One Rewards travel credit card and IHG One Rewards Premier business credit card.
If you qualify for this promotion, check the bonus rate and consider rebooking if you booked IHG during your stay. It also doesn’t hurt to check your other IHG stays as the reward rate may have decreased since you booked due to IHG uses dynamic pricing.
