Cole has been trending since its early exit from beef

As The Shade Room previously reported, social media had a positive reaction to Cole’s early departure from the music scene.

Cole was originally just for verbal puns. In the song “7 Minute Drill”, he praised and mocked K Dot’s discography. It was a reaction to the shots Kendrick took against him and Drake on Future and Metro Boomin’s song ‘Like That’.

Fans are excited by the lyricist’s musical punches. However, Cole quickly apologized. Two days after issuing his objection, he appeared remorseful while on stage at Dreamville Fest.

The ‘Power Trip’ rapper asked the audience: “How many people think Kendrick Lamar is one of the best motherf*****s to ever touch a mic?

He continued, “Dreamville you all love Kendrick Lamar, right? Me too. So I just wanted to come here and publicly act like the biggest, dumbest jerk to me… which makes me feel like 10 years ago when I wasn’t moving properly.”

He later removed ‘7 Minute Drill’ from streaming platforms as promised.

The viral beachside photo is the first time we’ve seen the rapper in public since early March. After apologizing to Kendrick, he appeared in New York to support his artist BAS on the final stop of his US tour.

But while he bowed out early, Drake and Kendrick traded blows from the booth. Meanwhile, J is still the mother. However, that didn’t stop him from going viral as fans wondered how he would react to the beef boost.

Despite initially mocking Cole’s decision to step back from the war of words, social media is now praising him as a wise man.
