Jim Jones lights up as he describes meeting Chrissy Lampkin

About two decades later, Jim Jones still confessing about his lover, Chrissy Lampkin. Over the years, the couple has been together the center of the marriage debateto his hesitation and her eagerness to get married. Even though they’re not married yet, he recently shared a precious moment: their first meeting.

Jim Jones remembers the first time Chrissy approached him

Jim Share a retrospective story while chatting recently on ’90sBabyShow.’ The rapper who grew up in Harlem shared that Chrissy Lampkin is also from the area.

“I had a crush on Chrissy…Chrissy was probably one of the flightiest, meanest, goofiest girls in Harlem,” Jim said.

The first time he saw Lampkin was at a historic location in Harlem called Mart 125, originally named the Harlem Flea Market. In 2023, Harlem World Magazine reported that Mart 125 was open from 1986 to 2002. This space served as an indoor market near the Apollo Theater. Jones said he went to that spot with Mase. At that time, Chrissy was cutting her hair short.

Fast forward to 2004, Jim Jones and Chrissy Lampkin ran into each other at a beach club in Miami. He claimed that she “ran down [him] and said something funny to him.

“I thought, wow, this is crazy. In my head I thought, ‘Wow, I’m so nervous.’ It’s like I’m trying to find my composure. Right now, I feel like all my composure has gone out the window and I feel like the best person in the world,” Jim shares between beaming smiles.

At that point, the host pointed out that Lampkin still had that effect on Jones, due to him blushing. Meanwhile, Chrissy has not yet publicly reacted to the interview clip being spread.

Jim previously quashed rumors of his marriage to another woman

In early November, rumors surfaced online that Jim Jones had married ‘Basketball Wives’ star Brooke Bailey. At the time, he quelled speculation by posting a video showing him holding a bottle of water and saying the world needed more. Seconds later, Chrissy Lampkin rang out from behind. She said, “I was just drinking water and minding my own business.”

A few days later, Brooke Bailey explicitly denied having any romantic relationship, especially marriage, with Jim Jones.
