Here’s What Happened to a Father’s 9-Year-Old Son in Arizona
According to the source, authorities visited the 38-year-old man’s home on Sunday, July 14 to conduct a health check. Republic of Arizona notes that officers discovered “piles of trash,” diapers, beer cans, rotting food and gallon bottles allegedly filled with urine.
Officers also discovered the decomposing body of Antonsen’s 9-year-old son, who was reportedly “sitting up” on the family sofa, according to COPPER. Furthermore, police said the boy’s body was in the process of decomposition.
“The investigation revealed that the child had been deceased on a couch inside the home for an extended period of time,” a statement from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department reportedly revealed. News.

The man is said to have admitted that he should have called a doctor for his son. Instead, he is said to have left the house for two days.
