A judge is said to be contemplating a reduction TI And Tiny Harris‘ $71 million payout follows their legal victory against MGA Entertainment. EQUAL Shade room previously reported, the company was accused of violating OMG Girlz’s style by creating “LOL Surprise! OMG Doll Line”.

On Monday, January 6, legal reporter Meghan Cuniff spoke out. Xformerly known as Twitter, to share updates on TI & Tiny Harris’ cause against MGA. Furthermore, Cuniff posted a screenshot of a document containing a tentative order “relating to post-trial fairness issues.”
“Jury ordered toy maker MGA to pay TI and Tiny $71.4 million for LOL Surprise! The doll violates trade dress @Zonniqueby OMG Girlz. Now, a judge wants to reduce the $53.6 million fine, reducing the verdict to $17.8 million because there was not enough evidence of bad faith.” Cuniff captioned his tweet.

In a follow-up update from Cuniff, she explained that the judge had not yet made a final ruling and could “change his mind.”
Update: Judge Selna has not finalized his order! Maybe he’ll change his mind! This is why he issued *tentative* orders before the hearing.
“There’s a lot to ponder. I want to take a break from this for a few days and I want to get back to it from the beginning,” the judge said.

EQUAL Shade room previously reported, TI and Tiny Harris’ legal battle against MGA Entertainment has been going on for years. At the time, the couple’s case was said to have been mistrial, ruled in favor of the MGA, and retried.
Most recently, a retrial of the case resulted in TI and Tiny winning against MGA and being awarded more than $71 million in punitive damages and actual damages for copyright and intellectual property infringement. Harris then spoke out after her and her husband’s important victory.
At this time, neither TI nor Tiny Harris have responded to the expected update in their case.
