Kaiju No 8 GFuel has a good balance of sweetness
Fuel regularly combine partnerships with Game And animated series. Are preferences tied to traits always meaningful? No. (I don’t really think so. citrus fruit or strawberries when i play Reload Persona 3.) But after a busy June that wasn’t E3, I tried Kaiju No. 8 Full Release GFuel is an anime-inspired refresher that helps keep you alert and alive. While I don’t immediately associate kiwi or berries with Kafka or kaiju in general, I’m really pleased with the flavor and it’s helped me get through some long work days.
Honestly, it’s been a while since I drank GFuel, before getting drunk on it. Kaiju No. 8 Kiwi Berry Blitz Energy Recipe Variation. Just like I used to rely on Peach ring Sonic the Hedgehog version. I appreciate that one because it has a peachy flavor that doesn’t taste too artificial or have a strong aftertaste. In this case, I tried a little powder first. The color of the powder (and the subsequent drink) is a lighter shade of turquoise blue associated with Kafka in the series. The berry scent is more prominent than the kiwi scent, as you might expect. I also didn’t notice any chemical smell, which is a plus. I remember some of the company’s earlier products could have a slightly odd smell.
Even if I just taste a little bit of powder Kaiju No. 8 GFuel, I found it to be not overly sweet. The powder definitely tastes more like a kiwi and berry product. However, it is a bit more subtle than I expected. Like when I was a kid, I would probably pick Pixy Stix in this flavor.
After mixing completely, the actual Kaiju No. 8 The final Full Release GFuel looks a little more like Kafka in kaiju form. The kiwi flavor is well blended into it, in a way that it’s not as overpowering as the strawberry kiwi Snapple. It also definitely tastes like there’s a combination of berries used to flavor it, rather than just a simple blend of strawberries and kiwi. I definitely tasted some blueberries and raspberries in it. Oddly enough, I felt like there was some pineapple in there too, and I wasn’t surprised when I checked the ingredients list to see that the powder was an ingredient. Also, I appreciate that this is a lighter colored drink, which doesn’t stain glasses and is easier to wash.
As for the actual energy, it’s fine. I’ve always found with GFuel that there’s enough caffeine and other energy-related vitamins and ingredients in the drinks that follow to keep me awake. One serving Kaiju No. 8 The Full Release version is 140mg, which is less caffeine than two cups of coffee. Since I’m not a coffee person and I don’t want to have more than 200mg of caffeine like in an energy shot or 300mg in something like a Bang Energy, it’s perfect. I don’t feel jittery after drinking one of these, and it doesn’t usually negatively affect my sleep patterns.
For the GFuel anime related flavor, I like Kaiju No. 8 Like Full Release. The kiwi and berry flavors blend well together, and the other fruit powders added don’t detract from that flavor. The amount of energy I get from it helps. Plus, even though it doesn’t scream “Kaiju No. 8“To me, the final color of the drink really matches the energy of Kafka.
The Kaiju No. 8 The full GFuel version is now available and the anime is streaming on Crunchyroll. Viz Media in charge of manga outside Japan. Kaiju No. 8: The Game is being developed for Computers and mobile devices.
