Kamala Harris responds to Trump’s question about her blackness


Kamala Harris’ The team responded later. Donald Trump questioned her blackness at the National Association of Black Journalists conference in Chicago. A statement released by the vice president’s campaign said, “Trump needs to stop playing games…”

As previously reported by Shade roomThe former president came out against Kamala’s mixed-race identity, claiming that she only recently began identifying as black.

He declared, “I didn’t know she was black until years ago when she accidentally passed as black. Now she wants to be known as black.” Donald accused Kamala of previously only identifying herself as “originated in India.”

He asks, “Well, I don’t know. Is she Indian or black? A journalist on the panel tried to correct Trump, saying that Kamala “always identified as a black woman and attended a historically black college.”

Kamala’s team has also come to her defense. Communications Director Michael Tyler issued a statement, writing: “The hostility that Donald Trump displayed on stage today [as] the same hostility he had shown throughout his life…”

Furthermore, the statement notes that “…he wants to seize power and impose the harmful agenda of Project 2025 on the American people.” Kamala’s campaign added, “Trumpet personally attacked and insulted black journalists in the same way he has throughout his presidency — while he has failed black families…”

Furthermore, Harris’s team said what happened on stage was an example of “…the chaos and division that have characterized Trump’s MAGA rallies.” and Donnie will not provide anything further if they argue. The message ends, stating, “All Donald Trump needs to do is stop playing games and actually show up for the debate on September 10.”
