Kamala Harris Sends Message to Donald Trump About the Debate


Vice President Kamala Harris responded later Donald Trump shared a message about their debate after she won the Democratic nomination for the 2024 presidential election.

Based on WESHDemocratic National Committee Chair Jaime Harrison announced on Friday, August 2, that Harris had won enough delegates to become the party’s presidential nominee.

Harris is said to have reacted to her achievement via a phone call “with supporters.”

“It won’t be easy. But we will get this done,” she is reported to have said. “As your next president, I know we will fight like hell.”

Harrison reportedly explained that Democrats “will rally around Vice President Kamala Harris and demonstrate the strength” of the party at the Democratic National Convention, which is expected to take place later this month.

Based on CNNOn Friday night, Trump said on Truth Social that he would not be participating in the upcoming debate between him and Harris, scheduled to be hosted by ABC News on September 10. Instead, Trump reportedly claimed he would only participate in a discussion that would be hosted by Fox News on September 4.

On Saturday, August 3, Michael Tyler, Harris’ campaign communications director, reportedly responded to Trump’s remarks.

“Donald Trump is running away in fear and trying to back out of the debate he agreed to and running straight to Fox News to save him,” Tyler reportedly said. “He needs to stop playing games and show up for the debate he committed to on September 10th. The vice president will be there one way or another to seize the opportunity to address a national audience in prime time. Anytime, Anywhere, Anywhere will have no problem with that unless he is too scared to show up on the 10th.”

Furthermore, Harris himself even participated. Xformerly known as Twitter, in response to Trump’s message.

“It’s interesting how ‘anytime, anywhere’ becomes ‘a specific time, a specific safe space.’ I’ll be there on September 10, as he agreed. I hope to see him there.”

Meanwhile, social media users shared mixed reactions to the exchange between Harris and Trump during the Shade Room Comments.

While Instagram user @anthonyblogan added, He agreed to debate Joe Biden, not Kamala Harris. If they can change the nominee and then pick the nominee without a Democratic process, why can’t he change the date and location of the debate?”

While Instagram user @theboditect added, If she’s ready for the debate, she should be comfortable with whether it’s Fox or ABC. Seems fair enough since he’s in litigation with ABC anyway. But hey, how many of you know about politics?
