Kevin Hart Reportedly Being Sued for $12 Million by Former Friend


Kevin Hart is reportedly being sued by his former friend, Jonathan T. Jacksonin connection with his 2017 sex tape scandal.

According to court documents obtained by Tonight’s entertainmentJackson accused Hart of violating the settlement they reached in July 2021.

Additionally, Jackson alleges that the agreement “requires Hart to pursue and defend against any criminal charges against him.” [him] and made a public statement exonerating him.” According to the source, Jackson became the subject of an extortion investigation after footage of Hart having sex with a woman named Montia Sabbag was released.

Furthermore, Hart reportedly agreed that he would remain in the position “for at least 24 hours.”

USA Today reported that Hart used social media to share the video on October 27, 2021. However, Jackson believes that instead of clearing his name, Hart “intentionally” failed to explicitly mention that Jackson was not blackmailing him.

“…JT Jackson was recently acquitted, and those charges were dropped against him, and I can finally talk about what I couldn’t talk about,” Hart told viewers at the time. “I couldn’t do it because of the legal process. It was like a fork in the road between him and I, and that relationship was lost. But I’m glad that now I can finally not only talk about it, but I can say that I’m glad that that chapter of my life is over…”

According to the source, the lawsuit claims that Hart’s statements failed to provide “clear and unequivocal exoneration of Plaintiff.” As a result, Jackson reportedly had “extreme difficulty in obtaining the role.”

“Hart’s statement dilutes this intent by treating the exoneration as a conclusion to a chapter in Hart’s life rather than a clear and definitive exoneration of Plaintiff,” according to the lawsuit. USA Today.

Jackson is reportedly suing Hart, citing “breach of written contract, fraud, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.” Furthermore, he is reportedly seeking a whopping $12 million from Hart.
