Kim Burrell doesn’t seem to like sharing her attention! The singer recently watched a crowd in church trying to sing along to her performance and social media is cutting out the clip. This moment comes less than a year after she went viral online. a similar incident.

A video shared by The Shade Room shows Kim on stage with a mic in one hand and a cell phone in the other. During the first few seconds of the clip, she repeatedly looks at her phone, seemingly looking at the lyrics. Then, as other voices in the crowd rang out, Kim interrupted herself.

“You all want me to get hit and tell you to let that mask work on you,” Burrell joked. “Please let me sing my song tonight, I have a purpose….give me a spin. Can I have that?”

She followed that up with another funny joke before returning to her performance. It seems that audience interaction happened at the first ‘Brothers Standing On Business’ gospel concert on September 21 in Brooklyn, NYC. Burrell announced her plans to headline the event in May. Kim went viral with a similar moment in January

As mentioned, Burrell made headlines earlier this year after she spoke to a congregation that wanted to sing with her.
