KLab is developing a new Bleach Hybrid casual mobile game
KLab informed that they had received consent from Bleach production committee to develop a new hybrid casual mobile game based on the series’ Thousand years of blood war cartoon. The new game will support Japanese and English, and will be available in most countries and regions worldwide, except mainland China.
In its press release, KLab described “hybrid casual gaming” as a model that combines the simplicity of casual gaming and the long-term playability of online gaming. The game will also generate profit from both microtransactions and advertising.
KLab did not specify the platform for the new game. However, it included its press release PRTimes belongs to the category “Smartphone Games”. So this new game will appear on mobile devices.
KLab previously released one Bleach live service game and it is still ongoing as of May 2024. Bleach: Brave souls was originally given to Android and iOS mobile devices. The company gradually added Computer (Steam) And PlayStation 4 into its platform product line. Brave souls recorded 70 million downloads as of November 2022; That number has been updated to 90 million at the end of April 2024.
