Offer details for both cards state that the tier-eligible night credit will apply to the calendar year in which the spend occurs. However, the offer details also say you should wait up to eight weeks from the last day of the calendar month in which your spending reaches the tier-eligible night credit threshold to access your World of Your Hyatt.

There is no limit to the amount of qualifying night credits you can earn through credit card spending. So, in theory, you can spend as many nights as you want. However, we recommend that you don’t make purchases that you don’t need or can’t afford just to earn qualifying overnight credit.

Of course, you can book a premium rate or stay at a higher-category Hyatt hotel, but we recommend you consider award nights at Category 1 hotels as these will cost you 3,500, 5,000 or 6,500 points per night. If you have the flexibility, use it Hyatt awards calendar to find off-peak nights for just 3,500 points/night.
