Based on DiversityThe group’s tour was “quietly” canceled on Tuesday, August 6. The newspaper reported that the tour was scheduled to begin in Tampa, Florida, on Friday, August 9. The tour included 18 stops across the country.
Additionally, the group’s tour dates were reportedly removed from Ticketmaster, with those who purchased tickets reportedly receiving notice of the tour cancellation late Tuesday.
In addition, ticket holders will receive a refund.
“Your event has been cancelled. Refunds will be posted to your account shortly,” the message was allegedly received from ticket holders.
Meanwhile, the reason behind the tour cancellation is said to remain unclear. Diversity Hill’s representatives and Live Nation have reportedly been contacted. However, no comment has yet been received.
Despite a nationwide curfew, Diversity reports that international tickets for Hill and The Fugees’ tour are still on sale. According to the source, the international leg of the tour will begin in October.
