According to a new online listing, Patrick the starfish from Nickelodeon’s animated series Spongebob SquarePants may be getting his own video game.

In a short time, the online store ‘Igbo‘ has a page for “Patrick Star Game“, which Outright Games describes as a physics-based open-world playground. Switch is said to be one of the platforms the game will launch on, alongside the PlayStation and Xbox versions.

Here is the full description and box art of the game (via social media):

“Patrick fans, your time has come – and Bikini Bottom is your open-world playground! You can skydive with just an umbrella (or nothing at all), search for buried treasure in the Dump, or unleash your rage in Mrs. Puff’s Rage Room. Use almost any item you find, from a reef blower to a can of paint, to make the world more like Patrick. And take on challenges that only Patrick would dare, set by Spongebob, Sandy Cheeks, Mr. Krabs, and more.

Be the star of the show, turn your silliest ideas into action and enjoy the physics-based chaos unfolding around you!”

The gameplay sounds a lot like a Nintendo game with a lot of physics-based chaos and a fun open world. Gamescom and Opening Night Live are both happening later this month, so assuming this is a real event, we’ll probably find out more soon.
