Little Kitty, Big City Update is underway, here are the patch notes


Full patch notes have been shared above Twitter and we’ve compiled them for you to see below.

overview
– fixed unusable error in some cases after manual loading
– fixed bug where sometimes getting stuck (and stuck) when climbing ledges usually happened on very low ledges
– Fixed bug where dogo could be used through fences
– fixed the paint buckets when climbing up so they can be reached
– fixed tanuki floating off the platform after you arrive at your apartment
– fixed lunch bag in construction yard that had bad alignment as well as clogged if you carried it too far from where it appeared
– Fixed the blue fan duck barrel being able to rotate
– Fixed the fruit drop achievement not triggering at the right time
– credit updates
– improvements for carried cats
– Fixed some convenience store props blocking the camera when they shouldn’t
– if an emote is triggered when pawning, the pawn status is now correctly cleared
– fixed being able to take pictures in the outro section (and some other sections)
– Fixed some crow skipping methods that could break some quests
– improved the area around the dogo (Big Potato) to improve the experience of putting the ball in the hole
– Fixed a critical collision issue in some buildings that allowed players to crash into the building and get trapped inside
– Fixed an issue where it was not possible to get the shiny bottle on the vent near the temple pond area
– fixed a line in Traditional Chinese where one of the characters was not visible
– improved worker behavior towards cats when eating fish
– fixed pawn and sprint at the same time

– fix pine needles on pine trees with inappropriate shading material
– fixed blocked cones and barrels if you drag them too far from the original position
– Fixed detour humans fading too early
– removed 2 realtime lights that were not seen or used, now improves performance slightly
– fix gaps/light leaks in models caused by sunlight by updating to new settings
– Updated the trash jump animation to the latest so that the tail doesn’t cut through walls and also no longer slides strangely when exiting
– fixed dynamic tail animator being enabled in some cases where it shouldn’t be enabled
– fixed the tail chase sequence having a large pause between the player’s actions and the actual spin

Camera
– Fixed an issue where the camera had strange phenomena and fell to the ground when carried and dropped
– fixed trash diving camera not being in a position where you could see the kittens escape the bin and land
– Fixed camera rotation not being the same at different FPS

Save
– added versioning for saving files to help us handle saving better in the future
– fixed game not saving when GIVEN missions, which caused some things to get out of sync when loading because some map elements needed to know if the mission had been started or not
– improved timing where autosaves crash less frequently
– fixed save bug in chats that could break things like when the Tanuki gives you a bright light and interrupts the conversation

user interface
– fixed chat bubble text being shifted down if the glyph was embedded in the first line
– fixed bug that could open the esc menu before the gacha item or fish collection was complete, which could leave you stuck
– it is now possible to close the exit menu with the cancel button
– fixed issue with opening the esc menu on the controller when you press B (“cancel”)
– Fixed an issue where the emote menu could be opened when pawning items
