Lola Karabaeva’s husband was arrested after police found her in the closet
Police have charged a 65-year-old man, Vladimir Lushevskiy, after finding the body of his late wife, Lola Karabaeva, wrapped in plastic in a closet at their Philadelphia home.

Philadelphia police said the last time anyone spotted Lola Karabaeva was on October 12. However, on Wednesday, October 16, police discovered her body at her home and arrested her husband, Vladimir Lushevskiy, 65 years old, for abuse of corpses.
EVERYBODY Reported on Wednesday (October 16), detectives discovered Lola’s body wrapped in plastic inside a closet during the search. Police discovered Lola Karabaeva’s body during the third search of the house, Philadelphia Inquirer state. After two previous searches turned up nothing, police noticed a black mark near the closet. Removing the wooden panel behind the cabinet, you see a trash bag sealed with tape containing Lola’s body.

“I have lived here for 9 years so I have never heard any screams. I’ve never heard anything bad but it’s worrying to know this is happening.” said a neighbor.
Investigators have not yet determined the cause of Karabaeva’s death, but they are said to be treating the case as a homicide. Authorities have not filed any additional charges against her husband, Vladimir Lushevkiy. However, their report indicates that more charges could arise as the investigation continues.

Frank Vanore, Deputy Commissioner of the Philadelphia Police Department, mentioned that investigators are looking into whether Lola’s death was related to an alleged argument with her husband. Reports suggest that the couple had been arguing about their son’s death 20 years ago.
In 2004, while on vacation in California, the couple’s 19-year-old son disappeared and authorities found his remains six years later. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear.
