Lucas Coly’s ex-girlfriend speaks out after his self-inflicted death
Amber Harrisonex-girlfriend of Lucas Colebroke her silence after his allegedly self-inflicted death. Cole died earlier this week in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is 27 years old.
Since then, fans have asked many questions about what happened and whether his relationship with Amber had any influence on his decision to self-harm.
This is what happened to Lucas Coly
For context, Lucas is known for his solo songs like “I Just Wanna” and group music with the band Diamondz. Additionally, fans on social media are familiar with his content creation abilities and French speaking skills, according to The Shade Room. The 27-year-old was reportedly born in France and moved to the United States at the age of eight. His fame started from Vine. Then, in 2018, he and Amber started their YouTube channel, according to The US Sun.
Coly’s manager confirmed his departure in a post on his Instagram feed on October 3. The caption has been edited, but the manager initially shared that his heart felt “torn to pieces.”
“We often talk about our difficulties but still smile with our fans. So many people have hurt us over and over again, but we have each other. I don’t know what to do now. I would be a hypocrite if I told you not to do that and I would do the same,” the manager shared.
Some media agencies, including US Weeklyconfirmed the rapper’s cause of death with the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office in Vegas. It is reported that he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Rapper’s ex-girlfriend asks fans to “let him rest”
Lucas’s ex-girlfriend, Amber Harrison, resolve his death in some clips spread on social networks. The clips originated from a social media livestream she hosted. First, she went after people who seemed to blame her for not getting the help her late boyfriend allegedly said he needed. Her eyes were swollen and watery, probably because Lucas was so sad.
“How dare you do that? Nine years, and you think I’m standing here like a pillar, a stop sign? Frozen, like…” Amber said, pausing for effect. “Are you slow? I did…everything I could. That’s all I can say.”
She further suggested that his self-inflicted death had something to do with their recent breakup. “I did everything I could. He couldn’t accept the breakup, and that was that. I can’t do it anymore,” Harrison said. Amber added that she is almost 30 years old and if someone doesn’t want the help she offers now then that’s their responsibility.
While breaking the silence, Amber also revealed that she heard Lucas fire the fatal shot. “So don’t blame me for choosing myself because you’d rather say RIP Lucas and Amber?”
“When I was talking on the phone and heard it, I screamed. I said, ‘No, no, no, he did it. He did it.” I said, ‘Mom, mom, mom, call 911,’ Amber said, sobbing.
In another clip, Amber Harrison said that during their most recent conversation, her ex-boyfriend threatened her to harm herself if she chose not to get back into the relationship. “I will do it. And not only that, there will be me and you in this b***h,” Amber recalls.
“I suddenly found myself sitting back and thinking about this nonsense. Think about the sound, boom. Dropped the phone, like, I really… I still… in this life before I left, didn’t give you the love you deserved.”
Before going live on social media, Amber also shared a photo of a phone believed to belong to Lucas Coly. She captioned the Instagram Stories post with: “This makes me feel so much better! Amen! You all don’t know the half!!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!! Let him rest.”
During his livestream, Amber also mentioned the autopsy on his phone. She doubled the relief it brought her.
“But I won’t lie to you. Looking through that phone toughened me up a bit. It made me like, ‘Let’s bet,’” Amber said before seemingly speaking directly to Lucas. “I know you like it, but come on. See you someday, we’ll talk about it.”
