Mai Shiranui will join Street Fighter 6 in early 2025
Capcom does published a new one Street Fighter 6 teaser trailer featuring upcoming SNK guest character Mai Shiranui. The company confirmed it will add Mai to the list in early 2025, still within the previously announced winter 2024-2025 season.
The teaser trailer is available in two dubbed language versions. Videos uploaded to the franchise’s official YouTube channel feature English voices.
Capcom also published another version of the trailer with Japanese dubbing on its official YouTube channel in Japan. It confirms that Ami Koshimizu will be providing the Japanese voice of the character, as well as recent SNK titles such as Deadly Fury: City of Wolves And King of Fighters XVas well as her previous guest appearances on Koei Tecmo’s Dead or alive fighting game.
Mai will appear as the third of four playable characters that Capcom is adding Street Fighter 6 in game second year after launch. After starting with the main ex-dictator character of the series M. bison in June 2024, Capcom followed up with another SNK guest character in Terry Bogard in September 2024. Street Fighter 3 debutant Elena will complete the Year 2 roster in Spring 2025.
Street Fighter 6 available worldwide on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Mai Shiranui will appear in Capcom’s latest fighting game as of early 2025.
