Marco Rubio said he may not accept the 2024 election results, as that is a requirement for Trump’s potential Vice Presidents now


Marco Rubio announced on Sunday that he might not accept the results of the 2024 election, a previously unthinkable statement for an elected official to make, is now essentially a prerequisite for anyone hoping to become Donald Trumpvice president.

Appears on Meet the press, Florida senator was asked by the host Kristen Welker whether he will “accept the 2024 election results, no matter what happens” answered, “No matter what happens? Are not. If it was an unfair election, I think each side would fight for it.” He then declared that “Democrats have been the ones to oppose every Republican victory since 2000, every single one.” Reminded that Democrats had problems with the final election results conceded, Rubio asked Welker if she would ask Democrats whether they accepted the election results.
